Marine industry figure Keith Hanson has joined Brett Flanagan at the helm of the newly formed New Ocean Yachts (AUST) Pty Ltd. Keith, who is known as one of Australia’s leading blue water boating specialists, recently left Riviera to undertake this new project.
New Ocean Yachts is regarded as one of Taiwan’s leading big boat manufacturers, and the new range of flybridge cruisers and sports yachts are set to be launched in New Zealand and Australia.
The flybridge cruisers will range from 46-65ft, Sports Yachts from 45-71ft and they will complement the existing range of New Ocean Motor Yachts available from 65 to 115ft. Each model in the flybridge range will feature a luxurious enclosed flybridge.
New Ocean Yachts says the range will feature a traditional robust hull design without tunnels, offering exceptional sea-keeping ability with a focus on ride performance and fuel economy and some models available with shaft drive, IPS or Zeus drive systems.
The New Ocean Yachts range will be supported by a national dealer network with leading boating sales and service personnel offering service and support in each of the major national boating locations.
