The new Atomix boats are a collaborative effort from a range of companies, including designer Brett Bakewell-White, Creative Cam (plug manufacturer), Lamination Engineering, Optimum Boats (plug finishing), Taylor Made Systems (windscreens) and Aquatech Marine (electrical systems).
All the base work has been done in New Zealand with the mould construction and lamination carried out the Atomix factory in China.
The first Cuddy cabin and Hardtop versions are on their to New Zealand for final work to be completed on the electrical system, graphics package, and upholstery.
Once production commences, all electrical systems and windscreens will be manufactured in New Zealand and exported to China.
