Bargain Boat Bits wins two national awards

The Marinelink Merchants Group (Bargain Boat Bits) won two awards at the recent Navico Australia & New Zealand dealer conference in Auckland last month.

The first award was for the 2014 New Zealand Lowrance dealer of the year, and the second was for the 2014 New Zealand highest percentage growth.

Bargain Boat Bits’ John Bolitho said both awards were a credit to the team at Marinelink Merchants group. “We achieved these awards through outstanding customer service, product knowledge, well-presented flyers and [our] website.”

Bargain Boat Bits, which has 19 stores nationwide, has pushed both the Lowrance and Simrad brands during 2014 with their 19 stores Nationwide.

Navico Staff includ Ben Maule, NZ territory manager; Kevin Taylor from Fish City; Chris Radford, Australia and New Zealand sales director; Louis Chemi, global rec sales director.

Meanwhile, Australia’s CH Smith marine was named the Navico 2014 Independent Australian Dealer of the Year at the same conference. It’s the fourth time the company has won this award.
