Description
This Riviera 40 is a well maintained example of a popular model by Riviera, this was one of the later 40's built. This is number hull number 252 in a total run of 288 between 1999 & 2007. Initially supplied to the USA market, the current owner imported her to NZ 10 years ago. She has an EWOF so can be connected to shore power to charge the batteries etc, and an 11.5KVA generator will supply power to the mains voltage appliances while out on the water.
She is powered by twin Cummins QSC 490hp diesels on shaft drive and will cruise comfortably in the range of 18 - 22 knots. The main fuel tank holds 1790 litres and a back up fuel tank adds another 541 litres to give her long range.
The flybridge has plenty of seating for crew and guests and provides excellent views and the helm is well equipped. The cockpit has a nice teak finish with plenty of space and is well set up for fishing with Rupps game poles.
The saloon is spacious with comfortable seating and a large TV with Satellite reception. The galley has a nice flow from the saloon and is well equipped too. The forward cabin has a walk round island double and another TV with good storage. The second cabin to starboard has three beds and the washing machine. To port is a head and a good size shower.
