Selina was built in 1996 by Jachtbouw Bloemsma BV Makkum and the hull is fully foam insulated. It allows you to sail literally everywhere in the world. Shes a 3 cabin, 2 head layout with the interior finished by Jachtbouw Anne Wever in classic cherry wood.
Constructed for cruising in comfort with a small crew, Selina is easy on the helm, sailing well on all points, and an excellent ocean-going yacht. The hull lines are very balanced without excessive beam and in combination with the relatively long waterline, the yacht tracks very well.
Selina has had 2 owners from new. In 2012, her current owners purchased Selina in Cherbourg, France, and sailed her back to the UK. In 2013, they started a major refit, which was undertaken by Foxs Marina Ipswich on the South East coast of England after a full paint job and interior refit Selina was re-launched in August 2014. In the summer 2015, they sailed Selina to the Mediterranean and cruised the majority of the western Med. In September 2017, Selina was transported as deck cargo from Palma Majorca (Spain) to Auckland where the owners lived aboard for a year during the build of their home.
