Beautifully built, exceptionally maintained, with a remarkable living space. "Charisma" is an ocean-going Vagabond 47 Mark II, designed by William Gardner and professionally built by Blue Water Yacht Builders (Taiwan) to an outstanding standard.
Vagabond 47 Mark II's are seaworthy, safe, and sturdy designs intended for ocean-crossing. Charisma's spacious, well-appointed cockpit, which can be fully enclosed to provide a social space, makes her great for winter living and entertaining. During the summer months, you would move to the large aft quarter deck.
Everything below is spacious. From the large saloon to the house-sized galley down the port side to the large aft stateroom with double bed and gallery windows. She has 2 heads and a large double cabin forward. The raised coach roof gives exceptional headroom for taller owners and guests.
She is powered by a 100hp Volvo Penta with 1,160lt of fuel and 710lt of water in stainless steel tanks. Solar panels provide back-up charging for the batteries.
Ketch rigged provides several sail options from her extensive sail inventory, which includes a new mainsail. The standing rigging was replaced in 2016. Charisma has glued Teak decks, which have been well-maintained and complement her traditional looks.
Charisma has an extensive inventory for blue-water cruising, including a wind generator, AIS, SSB, and Radar are a few items included in her inventory. Under her current ownership, she has sailed around 30,000NM, mainly in Asia and the Pacific.
