The latest updates about the Hutchwilco Boat Show 2015…

Organisers say this year’s Hutchwilco New Zealand Boat Show (14-17 May 2015) is on track to be one of the best ones yet.

This year’s two Stabicraft/Yamaha Grand Prize Packages have arrived in Auckland. These new carbon fibre Stabicraft boats (a 1600 Fisher and a 1600 Frontier) have now completed their journey from Invercargill, where they were built. You can read more about these prizes here

Meanwhile, Bruce ‘Captain Swish’ Duncan will be returning to this year’s Hutchwilco New Zealand Boat Show. Better known as ‘The Boating Guy’, Bruce will offer informed, impartial and practical advice on all things boating and fishing.

Keep an eye out for ‘The Boating Guy’ in the new Club Marine Discover Boating Centre (Hall 6), where show attendees can have a chat with him, ask questions and listen as he talks about the best ways to catch fish this winter.

If kayaks are your thing, there will be plenty of them at this year’s show – and you can win one, thanks to Viking Kayaks.

Each day of the show, Viking Kayaks will give away two of their popular Viking 2+1 family kayak packages. These kayaks can safely carry two adults and a child, come packed with practical extras and are each worth $2000.

Tickets to the Hutchwilco New Zealand Boat Show 2015 are already on sale. If you buy them now you will save $2 per ticket, plus you will automatically go in the draw to win an ultimate Viking Fishing Kayak Package worth around $6000. Click here for details.

As usual, Trade-a-Boat magazine will be at the show at the ASB Showgrounds in Auckland, and we will be giving away tickets in the lead up to the event. Stay tuned.
