Riviera will premiere the new 545 SUV along with three Platinum Edition Sport Yachts
Four models will be premiered at the 2019 Sydney International Boat Show as part of Riviera’s nine-boat display, but the spotlight will be on the new 545 SUV featuring a full-beam master suite and an expansive open cockpit.
Riviera says the new model is a versatile yacht at a size that would be ideal for cruising couples and young families. The new model comes with Volvo Penta IPS 800 (625hp) and 950 (725hp) power options.
The full-beam master suite features a king-sized walk-around bed, L-shaped lounge, bureau and large hanging wardrobe, and an en-suite bathroom. The cockpit has been configured for fishing and watersports and offers fixed transom seating as well as a three-seater mezzanine lounge.
Riviera’s Rodney Longhurst says, “The 545 SUV was designed to deliver a soft, dry and efficient ride, bolstered by the legendary structural strength that Riviera is renowned for. The hull performs wonderfully in the enclosed flybridge format, so the SUV’s low centre of gravity makes it exceptionally well settled and safe in a seaway.
“The underwater hull form is perfectly matched to the twin D11 turbo diesel engines and IPS drives, with excellent fuel economy and impressively quiet operation, not to mention easy joystick docking.”
Along with the 545 SUV will be three Platinum Edition Sport Yachts —the 6000, 5400, and 4800 Series II Sport Yachts.
The Sydney International Boat Show takes places from 1 to 5 August 2019.
