The luxury motor yacht manufacturer says the 505 SUV will make an international debut at the 2020 Miami Yacht Show
After the launch of its new 545 SUV at the Sydney Internal Boat Show, Riviera Australia is all set to unveil its latest addition to the SUV Collection—the mid-sized 505, which will make an international debut at the 2020 Miami Yacht Show from 13 to 17 February.
“Boating enthusiasts are really going to love the new 505 SUV,” company owner Rodney Longhurst says. “She perfectly complements our growing SUV range and, coupled with IPS performance, economy, and ease of use, offers so much for families looking to put fun and freedom back into their weekends.”
The 505 will feature twin six-cylinder Volvo Penta D8-IPS 800 turbo diesels developing 600hp (441kw) apiece, mated to joystick controls (helm and cockpit) and twin 16-inch Volvo Penta Glass Bridge screens.
The powerplants may be upgraded to twin 725hp (533kW) D11-IPS 950s.
The latest edition also features a raised mezzanine seating area and a covered entertainment area for extra privacy and protection from the elements.
Total cockpit area equates to almost 10 square metres, which is ample for fishing, watersports, and entertaining.
The cabin offers a queen-sized island berth, chaise lounge to starboard, drawer bureau to port, and en-suite access.
The 505 SUV will come with a five-year structural limited warranty and a five-year Volvo Penta systems limited warranty.
