Just Listed & Exclusive Dealer - The most Stunning Sunseeker 75 Yacht available in Australia today. MV "INDEPENDENCE" was delivered new in 2007, and is a very unique boat given she has the Series II layout and hosts many amazing upgraded features only found on the larger Sunseeker Yacht range. Powered by twin V12 MAN @ 1360 hp with ONLY 843 hrs, there is nothing, and I mean NOTHING, you can fault about this boat. With a service history as long as my arm and having a extremely knowledgeable and fastidious owner who has the attitude of replace rather than fix something...well it is rare to find such a well kept boat with equally awesome pedigree. The Brief : The thrills began from the moment we strolled along the dock and admired the sheer volume and fine lines of the 75 INDEPENDENCE . The excitement continued to my exploration of the crew quarters and adjoining engine room. The boat's submersible boarding platform carries a 3.8m Brig Eagle RIB tender with a 2 stroke 50hp Evinrude. Before the platform is a transom door providing access to the air-conditioned (currently decommissioned) and naturally-ventilated crew cabin. There are two adult-length bunks, hanging space, and a head across the companionway you will find a separate crew head with a decent shower and toilet to boot. Given the Australian boating market, this massive crew quarters provides excellent added storage space for all the kids and big kids toys, as well as the option of crew if you decide to go cruising along the East Coast of Australia! Lucky you! A watertight door leads to the engine room with full headroom, an emergency hatch to the cockpit with ladder per CE certification, and ship like systems with labelled machinery to make life easy for owner/drivers. Among the key items are the 2 x hydraulic pump (separate) for the bow- and stern thrusters for maximum thrust and boarding platform; the dedicated pump for the power-assisted hydraulic steering; the separate Besenzoni pump for the passerrelle; Large extractor fans have been fitted so the motors breathe clean air (invertor operated). The engines have underwater exhausts and ZF gearboxes a long way forward of the engine blocks, as per the vee-drive configuration. INDEPENDENCE has also been fitted with the upgraded 90mm shafts normally offered on the larger Sunseeker models. In 2017 all shaft seals and ball valves were replaced. There is an environmentally-friendly FM200 fire-fighting system, three compact chilled-water air conditioning units for instant temperature control, a Idromar 240v Desalinator for those trips to the reef (all the water on the boat is filtered), invertors /chargers x 2 to run the sound system, entertainment and all fridges without the Gensets, 3 x smart battery chargers for the24v & 12V systems, and only no-maintenance batteries several which are as new The generator is a 22.5kW (28kVA) Kohler with underwater exhausts and sea strainers, hidden beneath a removable chequer plate panel with the strainers for the air-con units. The engine sea strainers are alongside the fuel filters with redundant filters nearby. The fuel is carried on the centreline with water aft. All electrical and plumbing lines are coded. Underwater gear includes five-blade props, drip less shaft seals (new 2017), bronze rudders and 24V hydraulic trim tabs. You also get a supplied a boathook, mooring lines, fenders, spares and quality ropes. Among the options are teak decks on the bridge, cockpit , side decks and Marlinboard sealed with SEMCO. The boat has been fitted with a southern stainless BBQ to the rear cockpit and also has additional refrigeration to the flybridge . A major standout to INDEPENDENCE is the $60,000 solid Stainless fixed Bimini fitted to the flybridge , which has been architecturally designed and manufactured with the utmost professionalism. Wether escaping the heat and or rain, this huge addition is not only super functional ,but adds to the already stunning aesthetics the awesome Sunseeker 75 Yacht boasts. OUTDOOR LIVING You come aboard INDEPENDENCE via one of two flights of stairs leading up to the cockpit. Outdoors, the 75 Yacht has all the bases covered; every corner serves a purpose. Immediately you set eyes on the swanky electric capstans favoured in the Med to assist with stern-to berthing, trendy peanut-shaped cleats and full bulwarks backed by rails just like a real little ship. INDEPENDENCE has a huge solid rear dining table, Stainless Steel BBQ, side clear wind covers and Sony 2 x outdoor stereo speakers to boot. Like all 75s , INDEPENDENCE has a moulded staircase to the massive flybridge. Walking to the bow, you pass foredeck storage lockers before finding a forward-facing lounge for 4 built into the boat. Talk about views! Also on the bow is a sun lounge with numerous drink holders. In fact it is the perfect place to sunbake, unwind and revitalise the inner senses. Back in the teak cockpit, under the aft bridge overhang and out of the sun, is a wonderful lunch and dinner venue by the water's edge. The moulded built-in lounge along the transom, with 4 deck chairs and a long teak table can seat 10 in comfort. There's an icemaker not too far away, cockpit speakers, and overhead lighting. The observation deck, aka the flybridge, has almost as much room to rumba as the company's flush-decked entertainers, the Predators. Compared with the Manhattan 74, the 75 Yacht is said to be a giant. The single-level flybridge looks exceptionally big, especially without the jet skis on the aft landing deck. This landing deck area is currently utilised for 2 large mobile private sunbaking lounges. Easily stored, you have a magnificent rear entertaining bridge to knocked back the Verve and watch the sun go down in 5 star luxury. The radar arch has cool super yacht styling and sports domes for the satellite communications as well as radar and aerials. The boat has extra flybridge refrigeration and sun beds etc, so you essentially have another floor to entertain family and friends on. There are plenty of seats and lounges up top but the low surrounding rails and tinted windshield don't provide support to allow you to lean out from the bridge. As such, this is very much an observation deck where you sit or lie back and take in the views. The sun pad alongside the helm is a great place to throw the little ones or for a lazy couple to catch some rays. I know most partners would be keen to park themselves on this daybed and snooze while you drive on long passages. The helm seats on INDEPENDENCE are custom and design for ultimate comfort and low maintenance to the often harsh outdoor conditions. There is a massive U-shaped lounge behind the helm port side with another large teak table that can seat eight for lunch. Speaking of which, the boat has a handy amenities centre behind the skipper's seat with a deep drink chillers x 2 that can take a case of Coronas, and a sink with hot and cold water. Despite the stunning huge cockpit, the top deck is the place to be, and the circumambient views can't be bettered from any other perch on the boat. ENTERTAINING INDOORS Speaking of views, you cannot be besotted by the huge picture windows in the saloon. The views are yours when seated on the boats' two opposing leather lounges which can collectively embrace a dozen guests. The other thing we love about the saloon is that it's one level. You can waltz inside the big sliding stainless-framed doors, trot past the leather lounges, entertainment centre, wet bar and galley, right to the internal helm. The entertainment centre includes a as new 4G LG TV and an upgraded Bose entertainment system for the saloon. The boat also has a separate Sony Stereo system for the cockpit with 2 speakers and 4 speakers to the flybridge with separate volume control. The Saloon Bose Stereo also can run via the Sony system to the Flybridge. Being a Series II Sunseeker 75, the lounges are far better than that of the Series 1 layout. INDEPENDENCE has a huge V shape lounge to Port with timber coffee table and single lounge chair and stunning solid timber saloon flooring .To Starboard there is another straight leather lounge with views to die for. The galley has everything you would ask of a kitchen in a live aboard boat. There are granite countertops, a deep sink, a four-burner cook top, Bosch dishwasher, Stainless Steel convection microwave, and lots of timber lockers including a slide out pantry . Opposite is a STUNNING formal dining table with solid chairs. This can double as an informal seating area where you can converse with the skipper at the lower helm in addition to the already separate navigators guest lounge located opposite the helm port side. Alternatively, you can enjoy fine dining at the highest level should the need be required. The helm is simply an owners delighted and given its location to the upper galley provides easy access to grab a snack if driving from the lower station on extended trips. You will find it hard leaving the 2 x cream leather Besenzoni helm chairs, what with its wonderful lumbar support and push-button height and depth adjustors. Every long-range passage making boat needs a high-backed helm chair like this. There is an electric locking cantilevered door beside the chair that leads out to the starboard bulwark to aid with parking and nice big wipers on the windscreen. INDEPENDENCE ,no different to other mini mega yachts, have custom electronics packages so your able to cruise where ever your dreams take you. Almost reminiscent of an aircraft cockpit, the 75 Yacht's lower helm is equipped with a Raymarine E120 colour chart plotter, radar, depth sounder and log; Raymarine autopilot; a Raymarine multifunction numerical screen on which you could relay your depth in large numbers; two electronic multifunction Man engine panels as well as analogue gauges; chain counter; spotlight; and alarm, bilge and light indicator plans. The boat has electronic controls, the dash panel has been upgraded to carbon fibre with a handy amount of detent so you know where neutral is, a single toggle style joystick for the bow- and stern thrusters, and a large upgraded timber steering wheel with feather light steering - very few turns were needed to bank the boat around thanks to the power-assisted hydraulic motor. Most of these controls are repeated on the flybridge. CABIN FEVER The 75 Yacht is truly accommodating with beds for 9 in four cabins, plus four heads, and the crew quarters. It's also sophisticated with satin wood joinery, feature panels, timber blinds, earthy tones. When ordered new, at GREAT EXPENSE, the owner requested extra timber veneer be fitted in lieu of the std Sunseeker suede hull liner which is so worth it and sets the boat apart from her peers! The VIP guest cabin in the bow features an island double berth on the centreline surrounded by lots of drawers, a dedicated dresser or boating office, TV, and a walk-in wardrobe The third and fourth cabins down a step and just aft of the foyer feature comfortable adult-length beds. INDEPENDENCE has been customised with a 3 single bed port side cabin ( 2 singles and a Pullmans bunk and a 2nd Double bed to the Stb side cabin both with big hanging lockers and drawers, air-con and even flat-screen televisions with satellite and Foxtel. Both Cabins have walk in bathrooms and showers with the port cabin shower/head shared as the day head. The boa has a separate washer concealed and the dryer is located in the engine room where there is ample space for the unit to be effective The pièce de résistance is the owner's stateroom abutting the thickly sound-insulated engine room. The full-width cabin has three deep windows behind Venetian blinds that frame the views from the central island bed. One porthole in each set can be opened for natural ventilation. There's a leather lounge big enough for two people alongside the bed and a dressing area with tub chair and 240V outlets to make a decent boat office. Ahead of the bed is a stunning flat screen television, separate Bose Stereo and behind the bed head is a huge walk-in wardrobe and ensuite with granite vanity, personal storage, extractor, Electronic Toilet, and large shower stall with five-jet body massages and showerhead. All the shower heads to the boat have been recently upgraded. BLUEWATER CRUISING The V12 1360hp Man motors proved exceedingly quiet whether driving and riding aboard in the bridge or the saloon. In relative terms, these big blocks aren't gas guzzlers. The 50-tonne boat glides to planning speeds and cruise speeds without the motors working too hard. Synchronised at 1800rpm, they were using 140 lph per motor for a handy cruise of 18 20 knots. The boat rides like a 380 Air Bus and once she is on the plane, you never want to back off the throttles. However for the REV heads at heart, what stunned me was the speed of the boat . At 2000rpm, the Mans sounded really happy and the boat was cruising at 22-25 knots using 170 lph per motor.. Flat out at 2300rpm, the 75 Yacht will hit 32-33 knots and that is hammering !!! Bring your G suite J INDEPENDENCE is a 75 Yacht that quiet possibly has more in common with a semi-custom super yacht than a production motorboat. That said it can be owned and maintained by an owner operator with complete ease. INDEPENDENCE is ne very special Sunseeker and if you command the best in life well this is well and truly your boat.
