Yamaha has announced the new 2023 WaveRunner model line-up, which sees all-new colours and updated decals across the 15-model range
The announcement also includes the expansion of Yamaha’s RecDeck platform to the VX and GP1800R series.

Yamaha’s FX range delivers peak power and performance, with three supercharged 1.8-litre Super Vortex High Output engine models and two models with Yamaha’s 1.8-litre High Output naturally aspirated engines.
All FX models come with built-in GPS capabilities and a fully integrated marine audio system, with full Bluetooth mobile phone connectivity. The SVHO models come with a seven-inch feature-rich colour display, while the HO models come with a five-inch feature-rich colour display.
All FX models come with pre-drilled mounting holes for easy integration with Yamaha’s RecDeck platform and bolt-on accessories, which include the option of a JetFish Package, Lounge Package, and Tow Sports Package – all sold separately.
“Whether you’re into all-day touring, fishing, or high-speed endurance racing, the feature-packed FX Series delivers the perfect blend of comfort, technology, and big-horsepower performance,” Yamaha says.
The first 2023 WaveRunner models are expected to land in New Zealand in early 2023. Yamaha encourages interested buyers to reach out to their local Yamaha WaveRunner dealers to lock in their order, as the current record demand is expected to continue impacting stock availability well into 2023.
